Vaccination certificates

Everyone vaccinated through the official programmes get the official government-issued PeduliLindungi vaccination certificates, including foreigners without NIK. These certificates are available in several formats:

- Card certificates

- International WHO certificate (follows the relevant WHO guidance)

- International EU certificate (part of the EU Digital COVID Certificate system)

All three types of certificates are both in Indonesian and English and feature a verifiable QR code. All of them can be used for international travel as they are recognised across the entire world, with the exception of Hong Kong which specifically requires the EU format for those vaccinated in Indonesia.

About unofficial vaccinations: Some have tried to use this service to register unofficial vaccinations as "foreign vaccinations" in PeduliLindungi. Beware that doing so will prevent you from getting official vaccinations further on in Indonesia.

How to retrieve your certificates?

UPDATE: The PeduliLindungi website and app were discontinued on 1 March 2023. Instead, the official vaccination certificates are now available through the SATUSEHAT app. The instructions below were given for PeduliLindungi and are no longer valid. However, similar steps can be followed to retrieve the certificates from the SATUSEHAT app, so the information below remains available for guidance.

1) Create a PeduliLindungi account. Either an email address or an Indonesian phone number can be used to do so.

2) Fill in this form: pedulilindungi.id/periksa-sertifikat

2.1) Make sure you spell your name exactly as it was registered upon vaccination.

2.2) Enter your NIK or passport number depending on which one was used for the vaccination registration. If using the passport number, it must be preceded by its 3-letter country code, which can be found in your passport or here. For example, if you used passport AB151623 from Ukraine (UKR), enter UKRAB151623. Use capital letters.

2.3) Complete the form and download the card certificate(s).

It is also possible to get the card certificates through SMS, your profile or the app but the above method is the most reliable.

3) Log in the PeduliLindungi application and find the "vaccine certificate" menu.

3.1) Click "convert my certificate", choose any country with the "WHO" mention (doesn't matter) and follow the steps to get the WHO certificate until a QR code appears. Close the QR code, open the WHO certificate and click "download sertifikat".

3.2) Click "convert my certificate", choose any country with the "EU" mention (doesn't matter) and follow the steps to get the EU certificate until a QR code appears. Close the QR code, open the EU certificate and click "download sertifikat".
